Brian Mallady served his country and Sailors in the U.S. Navy for over 26 years and was able to achieve a successful career by retiring as a Navy Captain (O-6).  He then transitioned from the military and spent the last 9+ years with Covalus learning and executing the military services’ initial outfitting and transition (IO&T) program projects.  His second act of serving his country was to start his service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) in CY2020, naming it Second Service Partners.  He has since transitioned to be a business owner and serving the military, their families, and veterans with his IOT & Activation services.

Brian’s extensive experience with IO&T has been demonstrated as he was the project manager for Covalus on the DBIO USAF Langley Hospital Renovation and new Veterinarian Clinic project at Hampton, VA, and the USAF Grant Hospital Emergency Department Renovation project at Travis AFB. He performed key roles in support of the USACE Huntsville BTF Solutions JV projects over the years to include:
