Comprehensive Project Management
Project Management is integral to the execution of any tasks ensuring effective, efficient, and timely completion of contracted services.
Project Management services are integral to the execution of any tasks ensuring effective, efficient, and timely completion of contracted services. Second Service provides development of an Integrated Master Schedule to coordinate the IO&T schedule with other major schedules, such as construction, to ensure timely execution that mitigates risks associates with the schedules.
Additional services include synchronization matrix, monthly reports and deliverables to the clients, buy list status reports (BLSR), project management office (PMO) functions, QA/QC functions, safety reports, and small business and transition plans.
Medical Equipment Planning
Comprehensive medical equipment planning involves the services provided to validate the as-designed equipment plans are consistent with the current infrastructure plans and the equipment is supported with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing support prior to provisioning. It involves the pre-planning equipment inventory and verification for possible reuse equipment, supports the end-user group validation meetings, development of the Validated Equipment Listing (VEL), Room x Room drawings layout, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budget, and Current Working Estimate (CWE) for equipment budgeting. These activities lead to equipment sourcing and procurement, and eventually delivery, installation, and certification in the renovated or new healthcare spaces.
Transition & Relocation Planning
The transition and activation services include developing a Continuity of Services analysis, developing a transition schedule and timeline that is synchronized with the construction and outfitting schedules, operational planning and space management to include staff moving schedule, Day-in-the-Life (DITL) training and exercises, Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills, Staff Orientation Training with the new spaces, signage and wayfinding, move sequencing with TrackIT and orientations, regulatory requirements, and relocation execution.

Second Service transition planners have clinician backgrounds so are resident experts with operational planning and familiar with the principles of project management as outlined in the national PMBOK standards.
Comprehensive Interior Design
Comprehensive Interior Design (CID) involves validating the as-designed interior package to ensure that all of the finishes for the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE), medical and non-medical equipment, support the aethestics and overall design, atmosphere for the interior spaces. Also included in CID are the artwork packages to include the commissioning of pieces of customized artwork and memorial artwork displays and the interior signage packages for the healthcare spaces. Finally, the interior designers update furniture drawings, to ensure that all of the furniture is supported by the necessary MEP and form, fit & function in the planned spaces.

The Second Service interior designers are not only experienced in all aspects of the comprehensive interior designer scope of work, but have their national NCIDQ certifications.
